nserve’s core business for the past 10 years has been the development, implementation and management of projects that reduce emissions of N2O.

Under the Kyoto Protocol mechanisms CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) and JI (Joint Implementation), nserve has implemented around 40 such projects at fertilizer production plants all over the world, with the potential to reduce about 30 million tonnes of CO2e.

We share implementation risks and financing with our partners, and implement projects on a success-fee basis. nserve has authored several UNFCCC-approved methodologies on this subject and is the world leader in N2O emission reduction projects at nitric acid plants.
